Connect Your Wallet

To use AstaVerse, you need a Web3 wallet to interact with the blockchain. We recommend MetaMask.

Step 1: Install MetaMask

For Desktop (Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Edge)

1. Go to https://metamask.io

2. Click "Download"

3. Select your browser

4. Click "Install MetaMask"

5. Follow the setup wizard:

   • Create a new wallet OR import existing

   • IMPORTANT: Write down your seed phrase and store it safely

   • Never share your seed phrase with anyone!

For Mobile (iOS/Android)

1. Download MetaMask from App Store or Google Play

2. Open the app

3. Create or import wallet

4. Secure your seed phrase

Step 2: Add Base Sepolia Network

MetaMask doesn't include Base Sepolia by default. Here's how to add it:

Method A: Automatic (Recommended)

1. Go to AstaVerse

2. Click "Connect Wallet"

3. When prompted to switch networks, click "Switch Network"

4. MetaMask will ask to add Base Sepolia → Click "Approve"

Done!

Method B: Manual

1. Open MetaMask

2. Click the network dropdown (top left - shows "Ethereum Mainnet")

3. Click "Add Network" → "Add a network manually"

4. Enter these details:

Network Name	Base Sepolia
RPC URL	https://sepolia.base.org
Chain ID	84532
Currency Symbol	ETH
Block Explorer	https://sepolia.basescan.org

1. Click "Save"

2. Switch to Base Sepolia network

Step 3: Connect to AstaVerse

1. Make sure you're on the Base Sepolia network in MetaMask

2. Go to AstaVerse Platform

3. Click "Connect Wallet" (top right)

4. MetaMask popup appears

5. Select the account you want to connect

6. Click "Next" → "Connect"

You're connected! Your wallet address will appear in the top right corner.

Verify Your Connection

You should see:

• Your wallet address (shortened) in top right

• Your ETH balance displayed in "My Profile"

• Ability to view "MarketPlace"

Disconnect or Switch Accounts

To Disconnect:

1. Click your dropdown profile icon (top right)

2. Click your "Disconnect Wallet"

3. Confirm "Disconnect"

To Switch Accounts:

1. Open MetaMask

2. Click the account icon (top right)

3. Select different account

4. AstaVerse will automatically detect the change

Security Tips

Keep your seed phrase offline and secure	Share your seed phrase with anyone
Double-check URLs before connecting	Connect to suspicious websites
Review transactions before signing	Approve unlimited token allowances
Use hardware wallet for large amounts	Store seed phrase digitally (screenshots, cloud)
Disconnect from sites you don't trust	Click random wallet connection links

Troubleshooting

MetaMask doesn't pop up when clicking "Connect"

• Check if MetaMask is installed and unlocked

• Try refreshing the page

• Disable other wallet extensions (Rabby Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, etc.)

Wrong network error

• Make sure you're on Base Sepolia in MetaMask

• Click the network dropdown and switch

"Failed to connect" error

• Unlock your MetaMask wallet

• Make sure you approved the connection

• Try disconnecting and reconnecting

Multiple wallets installed

• Disable all except MetaMask in browser extensions

• Or use MetaMask's browser (mobile)
