Q: Page won't load or shows errors A: Try:

Q: Images not loading A: IPFS can be slow sometimes. Wait 10-30 seconds for images to load from decentralized network. Refresh if needed.

Q: Buttons not working A:

  • Check wallet is connected

  • Refresh page

  • Try different browser

  • Disable browser extensions (ad blockers may interfere)

Q: Dashboard shows wrong data A:

  • Refresh page (data updates periodically)

  • Check you're on correct network

  • Clear cache and reload

  • Wait for blockchain sync (can take 1-2 minutes)

Transaction Issues

Q: Transaction stuck/pending forever A:

  1. Check network status (may be congested)

  2. Speed up in MetaMask (pay higher gas)

  3. Wait - most transactions process within minutes

  4. Cancel and retry if stuck >1 hour

Q: "Out of gas" error A: Your transaction ran out of gas. Increase gas limit in MetaMask advanced settings and try again. Gas is lost on failed transactions.

Q: "Insufficient funds" error A: You don't have enough ETH for gas or bid amount. Get more from faucet.

Q: Why does MetaMask ask for so much gas? A: It's an estimate. Actual cost is usually lower. Unused gas is refunded to your wallet.

Q: Transaction succeeded but nothing changed A:

  • Wait 30-60 seconds for blockchain confirmation

  • Refresh page

  • Check Base Sepolia explorer to verify

Smart Contract Issues

Q: What if there's a bug in the smart contract? A: Contracts are audited and tested, but if a critical bug is found:

  • Emergency mode can be activated

  • Users have 7-day timelock to withdraw funds

  • Platform cannot steal your money

Q: Can the platform freeze my funds? A: No. Funds in escrow follow smart contract rules. Admins can only resolve disputes according to evidence, not arbitrarily freeze accounts.

Q: What's the emergency timelock? A: If platform needs to shut down, emergency mode gives users 7 days to withdraw all funds before any admin actions. User safety first.

Q: Can smart contracts be hacked? A: Contracts are audited and use industry-standard patterns. Always possible, but we follow best security practices and have emergency safeguards.

IPFS & File Issues

Q: My file upload failed A:

  • Check file size (may exceed limit)

  • Try smaller file or compress it

  • Check internet connection

  • Refresh and try again

  • Use supported file format

Q: Can I delete files from IPFS? A: No, IPFS is permanent decentralized storage. Only upload files you're okay being permanent.

Q: File downloading slowly A: IPFS retrieves from distributed network. May take time. Be patient or try again later.

Q: Can I update file after uploading? A: No, IPFS files are immutable (cannot be changed). Upload correct version first time.
