Q: I connected but see "Wrong Network" A: Click the network dropdown in MetaMask and select Base Sepolia. Refresh AstaVerse.

Q: Can I use a different wallet? A: Currently optimized for MetaMask. Other wallets may work if they support Base Sepolia, but MetaMask is recommended.

Balance & Transaction Issues

Q: My balance shows 0 but I have tokens A: Common causes:

  • Wrong network selected (switch to Base Sepolia)

  • Tokens haven't synced (wait 30 seconds, refresh)

  • TBASE not added to wallet (import token manually)

Q: Transaction failed - what happened? A: Common reasons:

  • Insufficient gas (need more ETH)

  • Transaction rejected in MetaMask

  • Network congestion (try again)

  • Wrong currency (check auction accepts your token)

Q: I paid but my bid didn't register A: Check:

  1. Transaction status in MetaMask (success/fail)

  2. Base Sepolia explorer (search your address)

Q: How do I check my transaction history? A:

  • In MetaMask: Activity tab

Security & Recovery

Q: I lost my seed phrase - can you recover it? A: No. Seed phrases are only known to you. We cannot recover lost wallets. Store your seed phrase safely offline.

Q: Someone stole my funds - can you help? A: Blockchain transactions are irreversible. We cannot reverse transfers. Always verify addresses before sending and never share private keys.

Q: How do I keep my wallet safe? A:

  • Never share seed phrase or private keys

  • Use strong password for MetaMask

  • Enable MetaMask password/biometric lock

  • Verify URLs before connecting (official: astaverse.io)

  • Don't connect to suspicious sites

  • Keep software updated

Q: Is my wallet address private? A: No, wallet addresses are public on blockchain. Transactions are visible to everyone. This is normal and how blockchains work.

Q: Can I change my wallet address? A: You can use different wallets, but each address is permanent. Create new wallet in MetaMask if needed.

Account Management

Q: Do I need to create an account? A: No! Just connect your wallet. Your wallet address IS your account.

Q: Can I have multiple accounts? A: Yes, create multiple wallets in MetaMask and switch between them.

Q: How do I log out? A: Click your wallet address → "Disconnect Wallet" or close browser.

Q: Will my data be deleted? A: Blockchain data is permanent. Auction history, bids, and transactions remain visible on-chain forever.

Q: Can I delete my auctions? A: No, blockchain records are immutable. Cancelled/ended auctions remain in history.
